Graphical displays make it easy to see gaps and trends at a glance.Smartphone apps: Many modern CPAP machines have companion apps that sync with your device to provide therapy data and insights. Data cards: Some CPAP machines use removable data cards, such as SD cards, to store therapy information. You can use a card reader to access this data on your computer.
I use a Philips Respironics DreamStation CPAP machine that has an app for your phone and a website you can go to to view the data from the phone app. Some people don't feel comfortable sharing this information so don't use the app.
Replacement Respironics Encore SmartCard. This smart card is identical to the card that is included with Respironics REMstar legacy and M Series flow generators equipped with SmartCard functionality.
The Philips Respironics Encore Pro smartcard is discontinued, but can be found on Ebay and other places by searching. It requires a smartcard reader to read and import the data to a computer using EncorePro software, which is available on the forum for free. It's very old technology and not very user-friendly. Do NOT use the installation CD that comes with the Mako reader. That does not have a driver on it that will work with Respironics' Smart Card. Instead, download and install the correct driver for the card reader by clicking a link on the product page: " Installer for EncorePro: DT3500-ISW-Encorepro_v1_3.exe "Respironics uses Smartcards on its M-Series APAP, BiPAP autoSV, .. machines.
